Bummer

If you have an address, or name or number I will give them a call. That bus got towed somewhere, possibly Missoula city impound.

If it went to the city lot, and was considered abandoned, you will probably never see it again. they will drain the fluids, crush it and sell it for scrap. Nobody is allowed to buy anything out of their lot, unfourtunately.

UPDATE:

Got a call from Ramrod today, and the bus will be ready for pickup next weekend! So with any luck and with the gracious help of Randy and his car hauler it will be out of the field and back in my garage

I still need a motor, so I will follow up with a guy in Billings selling a T4 2.0 and I'm hoping to hear back from 4est about the '72 motor he offered.

Pretty sure this is the one I am choosing...still wanting to see the M-plate and interior etc, but from what I have deducted this is a 1972 Deluxe Bus, and I cant tell if it's a Kombi (9 passenger) or a standard transporter (8 passenger).

I'd like to start aircooled, but...that sounds so awesome. I've seen the Vanaru conversions, any idea whats involved for a bay window convert? Where to mount the radiator?
