The covers I purchased from
www.sewfine.com. They specialize in Air Cooled VW's and have many options of fabric and design. I purchased 1" foam from a local fabric store and cut it about an inch wider than the actual seat frame. I then glued a 1"x1" piece of foam on the bottom edge of the foam I cut for the seat frame. I then glued a piece of felt cut about a 1/2" wider than the seat frame and glued to the frame to help keep the frame from rubbing through the foam. The assembled.

The seats look amazing. How easy were they to do? I need to redo the front seats on my beetle. Where did you find the fabric? I have got to come out and see this.

I'm going too, I'm sorry I have been so inactive, it's been a crazy spring with getting ready for little man to come home. I need to look at sewfine for seats and a rear headliner and carpet. I need to hit them up for stuff. Hopefully I'll have more money come this winter since the farm and city will be done. I'm sure glad my exwife takes my $400.00 a month to pay for her husbands new diesel truck. I'd like to find a little bigger space and gut the beetle and do the seats and finish the motor. So its fully ready to drive by next summer. This is another summer where both cars won't be done or enjoyed. Oh well such is life.

Seats look professional
I think the site you're after is
http://www.sewfineproducts.com though.
http://www.sewfine.com does drapes and other such household products.

What colors did you go with? I'm now inspired and looking at the 2/3-1/3 set, but I'm wondering what you think would go best with my interior based off the colors you got.
I'm thinking for mine the standard insert pleated 2 color, beige vinyl trim with earth tweed insert would match the panels pretty well.

I bet that would look nice Mike.
Wade, how easy are they to install? Is it with hog rings or are they stretched and glued?
