"Squareback! He's so low right now!"

(and yes I am shamelessly posting on my own thread, I need a booty call)

The square is registered and rolling! Got the title taken care of and I've been driving her since thursday. So much fun and it makes everyone smile.

My fuel float is faulty, so I'm trying to track one down. I belive they are the same for any aircooled, so if anyone knows where one is, let me know. Otherwise I will add it to my junk yard parts list, and hope to make the trip down in a few weeks. I could just, buy one, but what's the fun in that?

Also, Aeron has a speaker for me in Missoula. If anyone is going to be traveling from Missoula to Bozeman and might be able to transport it. Give me a holler to make arangements.

Driving around listening to an aircooled starting to get to you? I know the feeling.

I am anxious for the snow to quit so that I can bring out my bus!
Air cooled and slow but a great cruise.

Nah, I love the sound of an aircooled. And I've got a crappy temp speaker sitting on the floor so the radio will work. Everyone digs the mono sound, it makes it feel like a time machine. I wouldn't want a new stereo in it. It would just be nice to have the correct speaker in the correct location. But on the plus side the magnet on the current speaker helps it stay balanced on top of the the tunnel.

Are any of you Missoula guys that are coming for YNP able to transport a speaker for me? Aeron has it, just need someone to pick it up and bring it to bozeman this weekend.

Took the square down to the Bozeman car show with some new accessories. Talked to a lot of people, made a ton of smiles and had a great time. Even got a bunch votes for best import and peoples choice, totally unexpected. Made the paper too. This car continues to be nothing but fun.
