Priority one is of course getting it to my house, and acessing the damage. But in the mean time a boy can dream...

I hope to be able to see it in person this weekend, and get a better assessment. I'm expecting lots of rust, but my hope is something we can get running and make driveable. I'm not going for restoration, just something fun to tinker with, and put around town. Give it some style and make some smiles.

thats what im talkin about! , out of the two i think thats the one that i woulda got myself but its really not that bad! needs to have the interior cleaned out reeeaaalllyyy well i know it needs a distributor, after that it "should" run pretty good! cant wait to help with this one.

and for the record you better put that stinger exhaust on it. its timeless. and you wont have a-holes like wade gettin to close with motorcycles.

love the styling you went with!

I'd love a set of the old school wide stripe white walls, but they want a kidney for them. I think I'd mount white walls regardless. Wheels will be flat red, and roof wil be flat black as to not outstage the faded factory paint. Would love to find a set of yellow lense spotlights for the bumper, and I thought the stinger just fit the ratrod inspired styling. I'm pretty excited on how the design came out. Now I just want the car so I can get it to my house, the weather can turn cold, and I don't touch it till spring, lol.

Brandon, Matt, Zeke, and I went out to look at it on Sunday. It's in better condition than I thought. Biggest issue it a major cleaning.

Check out the dead muppet seat covers. AM radio, FM radio, and CB... Talk about loaded with the latest technology.

An old windup shaver we found in the camper van. Also found recipe book from 1866, very cool.

I just reaised that you called it an "avant" Man you Audi guys never quit, do you?!

That Bow Wow sticker is more Uber-cool than you think. Bow wow is now called Autovice, and they are one of the oldest VW parts/service shops in Seattle!

What kind of recipes can thier possibly be fron 1866? Coffee? Water soup? I bet some kind of beans. Was it written by someone named "cookie?"

I don't think people explored the west on coffee and soup. I didn't write any of them down, but I'd sure like that book, it was sweet. I can't really knock what they woulld have eaten considering last night I had chicken nuggets and instant mac and cheese. My only comfort is knowing that kids in daycares around the country enjoyed the same meal. And I cooked it myself! Take that all you lazy 3 year olds.
