Looking for a good JH short or long block.
Sean's turbo experiment left his Scirocco with a terminal rod knock. Need to find a new one ASAP.
Thanks

also the PG block has all forged internals
and its still just a standard old 1.8 counterflow 8v.
another plus to the PG motor is it was build for boost
g60 ftw

Hmmm, does it lower compression?
It's going in a '78 Scirocco already running a JH on CIS basic.
What we need is another block that will go in without any mods. No block off plates, different coolant lines, different sensor locations, etc. Quick and easy RR of the bad motor.

A g60 runs 8:1 compression. I probaly wouldnt get rid of the pg block but the pl block would still be ideal. Ive got the g60 head which is in good shape and would be perfect for boost. Oh question for ya how did seans car run on cis but boosted im guessin a pain to tune a.
