I done did it.

Post by VR6NH »

I removed the front end of the Jetta as I have a small number of parts to install. A new crack pipe, upper rad hose Y pipe, and AC compressor. Now I need to drain the coolant and somehow discharge the old AC compressor. Any suggestions on performing these tasks? I can drain the coolant pretty easily but need to find a place to dispose of it.

Also, if anyone has replaced a crack pipe on a VR and has any pointers or recommendations before I remove any more bolts, Id love to hear!

I will also be installing new ebrake cables and guide tubes, pulling the headliner to install new antenna seal, new 4 channel amp, new 35/40 kit :crybaby:, and hopefully some OEM 15s with decent rubber.

That is all.
