VR Mods
I know asked before but what sort of mods can I do with my VR, does revo make upgrades for it and if so how much. I want my wagon to go a little faster. so besides a turbo waht upgrades should I have for a better sound and more HP. And how much are such upgrades? i'm going to look online tonight. I want new exhaust and a downpipe but not sure what else. I'd love to do a turbo but can't afford it right now. So I'm looking for more economical.

Re: VR Mods
you could do mods like this white jetta in billings he straight raped my vr at the track beat me by a full second and a half. he has stock exhaust but he has a short shifter, cams, cam gears, pflo intake, chip, and a ported and polished head. i mean he spent like 1500 on all of it but the difference was insane right off the line he started pullin slowly and i could never catch back up. my car is stock besides intake, and suitcase muffler removed. that might be something to think about.

Re: VR Mods
Unfourtunately, Revo does not offer chip tuning program for the VR6, but I know there are chip available on the market for them. I personally have a Neuspeed P-Chip, and I have had that installed for about 10 years, and I have not had a problem with it. I think I paid like $89.00 for it, but I also remember it was on special at that time. I am sure you can pay a bit more for a GIAC or something like that and get more gains, but at that time, i couldn't beat the price! An intake and exhaust system will ehlp out some for sure, but you definitely reach a point of dimishing returns when modding a VR6.
