Boost Gauge
What boost gauge solution are you guys running? Is there a column mount or is it just pod because of the airbag? I have seen a couple of different makes but wonder what others are running - I need to get one soon. Pictures are a plus!

Re: Boost Gauge
I've seen the NS gauge as standalone. $80 isn't bad but I also would need a pod - did that include the pod? Where did you order it? I would probably run white or red backlight because Audi dash is not blue.
Anyone have a Podi gauge? They look nice and come with everything.

Re: Boost Gauge
Yup I did - picked up a podi gauge and mount and did the resistor mod. It looks OEM - esp at night.

Sweet. That's what I was going to suggest...or my non-conspicuous setup. I need to ask you about the light wiring...I wired up mine but it doesn't work :/

Re: Boost Gauge
Sure, it's pretty simple - I tapped into the vent light 12v so I can use the dimming function and I grounded it on that grounding point just above the fuse block. I used a 2k 1.5W resistor to drop the brightness just a bit - I just soldered it inline and used heat shrink.
So in your case either the 12V isn't hooked up right or the ground isn't really a ground. I used taps for the 12V and I have lot's extra if you need a couple.
