Wheel knowledge?

So, does anyone here know if Monte Carlos and Take 5's are the same wheel with different inserts?
I'm looking to get some new kicks and found a deal on some Take 5's...I don't like the ridged inserts. If I knew they fit and where to get them I would just switch out the old inserts with monte inserts and pow! Whatever...

OR...if anyone knows of a good deal on some nice 17" 5x100's....i'm listening.

Are you the guy trying to buy the ones in Helena? As far as I can tell they are one piece. But very similar. I want a set of carlos for my VR when I get the 5lug swap done.

Yeah, the Take 5's are in Helena. I know the inserts come out of those and can warp Not sure if the Montes "inserts" even come out.

Just fishing for anyone that might have some knowledge.

I did a quick Google search, and if what I read is correct, the Take 5's have an insert, and are the same as Monte's, which have a different insert. Santa Monica's look the same as the Monte's but apparently have no removable insert - meaning they are fixed insert and cannot be removed. I can't verify this first hand, but thought it was interesting.
