Here it is. I am new here and have already noticed, and appriciated, the comments given about my car. I thought I would start a build thread about her to kind of catch everyone up! These pics are a few months old, but the car is currently under the knife again, just not sure when I will be able to post newer pics. (She is out of town)

Nice! I think every dubber has a special spot in thier hearts for MK2...I know my next project car will be a MK2 with a big 1.8T swap in it.....nice choice!

Thanks...but let me tell ya...a 1.8t swap gets spendy! But that is why I did it, to be a little diffrent. :laughing:

thats a sweet lookin motor, we need to get that bay shaved! looks like you definately have the skills to do a mild shave on that bay! all it is, is alot of sanding till you like it :laughing: do want more pics!nice work, we needed some more old school love!

looks like you are still using an 020 transmission?

Actually nm, in the engine bay pics, its an 02A.
