Vacuum Leak Detection

Post by AKRadar »

Ok, I need some assistance with my new beetle... I am still being plagued with the goofy CEL staying on becasue of the intermittant reverse airflow in my Secondary air system. I have replace all but 1 hose and am still gettin the CEL. I am planning on changing the last hose in the next few days but would like to know what I could do if the problem is still not cured..

That being said. How do i find a vacuum leak?
Would love to rid myself of the glowing yellow light on my dash... and all help is appreciated. Thanks!

YNP HERE I COME!!!

You need to clear your codes and see if they come back, and if they do, find out what the code is and what it means. the code(s) could be related to a different problem.
