I have the MkIV Bentley on my computer.
If my wife doesn't take it with her to Missoula this weekend we can print the pages you need. If she does take it we can do it next week.

Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Behind that peice surrounding the speaker are styrofoam and a foam pad in a plastic bag  . I cut my speaker mount to fit 6x9's and wired those and my front speakers to a 650 watt amp and rewired my sub to a 400 watt amp. I've got some crazy alternator noise coming out of my speakers so I am going to reground the amps and finish up the wire hiding.

yeah, like he said, ye old alternator whine. I have been a stereo installer for 10 years and it is still the bane of my existence. Check your grounds. If you have more than one amp, try to ground them at the same point. Try a seat belt bolt, and scrape the paint around the bolt hole. Check your RCA cables, make sure the are not run anywhere near the power lead.(separate sides of the car!) If you must cross the power lead, do it at a 90 degree angle. Use twisted pair RCAs, (sheilded or unshielded, I prefer unshielded). Make sure the RCA connections at both the deck and amps are solid and tight. Check the gains on your amps, see if it goes away at a different gain level. If you are using any kind of external cross over or EQ, try eliminating it, to see if it goes away. Anyway, that is all I can think of for now. Good luck. I hate alt whine   :puke:
