03 GTi ECU ?
So I have been looking into getting an extra ECu for my 03 GTi 1.8t. I haven't looked at the part # on mine yet. But the number starts with 06A 906 0 32 then there are two letters. I have seen the letters HS, LQ, MC, BG, and so on. Do those last letters have any significant meaning? If you have any answers let me know thanks.

Never mind I figured it out. Sort of. Well at least I know which one I will need.

And? You figure out an IMMO defeat?
It's not how fast you go. It's how well you go fast.

Re: 03 GTi ECU ?
for Grants old car? If you want more performance and it to be smoother (aside from when the boost hits) try a GIAC X file for the 1.8 with the K04s. you will be blown away by the difference
I wouldn't run it on the stock ecu...but that is just me. if you look into the ko4 upgrade you will find info on using the injectors and the maf and maf housing out of an audi tt for that upgrade. That is what I had been telling Grant to look into...just my .02
