So I was thinking my Audi may have felt somewhat neglected by the fact that I sold her last year. Even though I bought her back I figured I better give her an extra special Christmas gift this year. So today I installed a RNS-E
I'm super impressed with both the sound and aesthetic improvements it made.
She's happy again
And so am I

Was that a plug and play or did you need to install anything else? Looks killer btw!

I had to order a retrofit harness. Took about 30 minutes total to pull the Symphony II hook up harness, change the farka antenna, and install the RNS-E. The retrofit kit came with everything including the GPS antenna which I just temporarily mounted inside the dash. My car has an OEM sharkfin antenna which actually has a GPS antenna built in. I've ordered a extension cable to hook it up, just waiting on that. Even with the current under dash GPS antenna the nav has been dead on. I still need to VAG COM so the unit sends the step by step turns to the DIS
