Planning to sell my passat. Actually getting into a subaru project, so I won't be selling this immediately as I need a daily, but I'd like to get it out of my hair eventually. I've still got some aircooled projects to fall back on :)

-In Helena

Most parts swapped from my totaled 94 passat

-OBD1 12v VR6 swap
-5 speed swap
-Manual brake booster swap
-Full 94 suspension
-ST coilovers, low miles
-Toyo G-02 plus tires, great shape, low wear
-About 85k on the engine
-Intake ported to 2.9
-200k+ on body, Arizona car, super clean minus some dings
-custom built stainless 2.25 exhaust with Eurosport tips
-Front and rear drilled and slotted rotors, rears swapped from Corrado
-MK3 sunroof swap with glass from B4
-European GT flares and door/rocker panels
-European textured bumper
-CA/Euro dash pockets and manual seat belts
-Full poly subframe bushings
-Rear bumper sill needs to be stripped
-Currently has black leather seats, with MK3 fronts, may include the leather depending on sale price, or sell separately
-Also have full swap for grey or blue cloth passat seats
-May include Thule rack
-Recently replaced Driver side hub, wheel bearing, and CV axle
-Replaced starter
-Replaced crackpipe, thermostat, thermostat housing and gaskets
-Dual slimline fans on custom mount to a radiator that's only a few years old
-New condensor and evaporator
-Ford Coilpack mod
-B4 Passat center console
-Have extra door, hood, bunch of other bits n pieces

Cons:
-Needs some new suspension bushings
-Power steering must have water in it, tried cleaning it, ran 4 bottles of the oem fluid through it. Still milky, a little whiny
-Valve cover gasket leak
-Some vacuum lines possibly missing
-heater box resistor out, blower motor wired to a switch currently
-sunroof broken, have extra
-Recently developed a stalling issue, thinking crank position sensor
-hatch busted up from hit and run

-Overall a solid running car, but could use some tidying up, sure I'm forgetting a few things

Since it's nice out, I'm hoping to fix stuff as I go along here, I'll update this post. If I get it all completed, I'm hoping to sell it for $2100 OBO, possibly more with the new parts on it. But as is, make me an offer if you're interested! Or pm me with parts offers, give me something to think about.

Message me with any questions

Thanks,
Keegan

Pics!
Also I have been wanting a B3 so if it's still available when I have cash I might make you an offer. (depending on the pics)

And what is your Subaru project?

Subaru project is going to be a 98 forester. Going to pick up one for about $600 off craigslist, and I've got another one in my yard. I'm thinking, piece the good one together, reseal/new gaskets on the 2.5, pull the 2.2 out of the other one (For some reason the $600 one had a 2.2 swap). Might even look into swapping the 2.2 into a baywindow bus

Ideally I'd really enjoy making the worse shell of the two into a trailer like so Image

Is your other fozzy a 98 too? If so you have a good dohc 2.5 in it? Is the 2.2 a phase 1 or 2? My buddy did a ej22 phase1 swap on a friends bus. He loves it.

And the fozzy trailer..... wicked awesome!!!

Yeah the one I've had is another 98 dohc 2.5, just stopped driving it the beginning of winter when the clutch fork broke! The 2.5 needs some new gaskets but it's not terrible, so maybe I could run the 2.2 while I redo the 2.5

It's nice cause the one I just bought will have working airbags, cruise, a/c, whereas my old one got totaled and hacked back together at some point. Drives great, but it definitely isn't in great shape.

I'm not sure what phase the 2.2 is, but I'd love to find out more about the swap. I've seen them in vanagon, but don't know much about putting one in a baywindow
