Noooo!

Post by RuS4ty »

So today has been a series of bad events...
but to skip all the bull shit, my car feels almost like its running in limp mode and the turbos sounds "funny".
It almost sounds like one of them has blown.
I havent been running the car that hard in the past couple days, or even today for that matter. I dont even think the tach(sp?) got above 3K rpm today. It was running like normal earlier today and then poof, after letting it idle for about 10 mins while I was on the phone, it started running like shit.

I have had a cel on for too long, but the last time I checked it was for an O2 sensor, which the CEL would only come on with my GIAC chipped ecu and not when I swapped in my APR or stock ecus. But that was too long ago that I last scanned it, so there could be other codes...

Basically anyone with a VAG-COM in the area (cough cough joe cough cough), could you please please please help me out with a scan? I am hoping to get one for my B-day next week, along with a boost gauge, to help diagnose my issues.

So if anyone want to help diagnose my problem it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Not much I can offer untill codes are pulled, but I'll help you out Rusty. Sounds more like you're in limp mode, and that could be caused by a bad sensor which would make if sound rough. Any dentist drill sound or white smoke indicating the turbo lady?

Good luck man! Hopefully a minimum or wrenching will fix it!
