I am just going to throw this out there...
If anyone reading this is interested in this type of event (open track), consider participating in a Porsche Club driver's education in Lewistown. These events are put on by the local PCA regions, there is instruction, by club members, not professionals. You get a LOT of seat time. And its usually under $50 for two days. :eek:

Keep in mind that this is MUCH more demanding on the car than autocross. You NEED fresh and uprated brake fluid and pads, your car will get hot, so if you have any cooling issues you will wreck something. You must have 'equal' seating/restraints for driver and passenger. This means don't have a fixed race seat with harness for the driver and a wore out OEM seat with a lap belt for the passenger.
