Took this just a few minutes ago. I like it much better than the way it originally looked, and it was free...Ill be painting it on Wed. and putting the fogs back in. I think some sort of splitter on the bottom would look nice too.

Nice! I had a B5 Avant 5spd which I still miss very much. Good work on the body.

With that mileage (and maybe I missed it), has the timing chain and T-stat been checked? I know they start to go at around that mileage ...

I changed thermostats right after i bought the car, but the timing belt has to wait until its a little warmer. Keeping my fingers crossed that it makes it till then.

Lots of work this week. I sprayed the the quarter/sail panel, but i must not have cleaned my gun well enough because i got a bunch of oily fish eye crap in the clear. Itll do for now, but ill likely end up respraying it come summer.

The front bumper came out great. I didnt fix every single little rock chip or spider crack, so its not 100% perfect. Its leagues better than before, and it was more of an experiment with the beat up original bumper.

I tinted the head/tail lights while i was all set up, but i may have gone a little too dark. I like the tails, but the headlights are a bit much. I almost had it, too...I thought, just one more coat to take it a little farther...Oh well...

So use your imagination...Un-tint the lights a bit, put the new hood on, put the left foglight in, and then put a FMIC behind the bumper

I give you props. Painting is something I am not confident doing myself.

Haha..maybe..

I usually paint indoors, but i was in a hurry to get this finished. I put the beat up grill back in the beat up hood, and the silver pieces break the color up enough that im starting to like the way it looks..
