Hooked up the amp.
Found these terminals at home depot. They're not uber cool audio deals, but those uber cool audio terminals would mean I have to cut my primary wire which I'm not keen on. Anyways, these were cheap.

I did have to enlarge the hole just a scoche.

Put some heat shrink on it just cause

Hooked er up

Also got the skirt primed and sanded smooth

Worked on the bumper tuck. This is a common modification for those who don't have plastic bumpers. Basically you modify the bumper shocks to tuck the bumper more in resulting in less of a diving board look.
Before

Drilled a small hole to release pressure. There's various reports of internal stuff. I lucked out and got the non-biohazard melt your skin off stuff.

Once the pressure was off, I put a slot in the end of the threaded shaft and turned it out of the housing.

This allows the shock part to be removed from the housing

There's a retaining nut, typical shock type deal here

Removed it

With that off I could pull the piston out

Piston

Looking into the tube

Cleaned the piston and scraped out the stuff (seems like dry silicon)

Reassembled and ready for install

And the difference in extension
