Mainly Aeron is asking what motor - with a BOV I assume you have the 1.8 (unless you have a VRT :unibrow: )

Doesn't seem to me that any of those mods should throw an EPC light, but maybe the CAI. So a couple of questions....
Does it drive normally, or does it bog down?
Have you had it scanned with Vag-Com or just cleared (with a generic code scanner)?

I can scan it and tell you exactly what's wrong and probably how to fix it. Just email, PM or post up in the thread.

I hear that a BOV will cause an EPC light. Since the ecu doesn't know where all that air went.

Yeah, since the VAG motors don't like atmospheric BOVs, (my shop eclipse 4G63 is the same way, have to recirc) I would try that first. What BOV do you have on it? I have some TurboXS recirc valves available. I am willing to be it is air related(meaning not fuel, or spark)

Aeron's correct - if you have an atmospheric BOV (not routed back to your intake), then it will cause problems by running the car too rich. I can scan it, but more than likely the problem will be that you need to get the correct BOV (get that TXS from Aeron) or go back to stock. I'll at least clear your codes for ya, which will take your car out if limp mode. I hate to ask, but what did Dana charge for a scan? I use the same software they use.

What BOV do you have now?

RBV-25 Aeron?
