Thought about this a little more. Most of what I posted previously had to do with the turbine side of the turbo. On the compressor side, I suppose the outlet of the small compressor could be connected to the input of the larger compressor in a sequential set-up. That way the pressure on the inlet of the large compressor would be above atm, so it would spool quicker, in theory. But as the rpm climbed the small compressor would still probably be outside its best efficiency, and would just be a restriction. This may be the way the RX-7 works, because after the second turbo kicks in, the torque doesn't climb like you would expect it to.

If you can get Porsche or the diesel manufactures to release specs and designs on variable vane turbos I'd love to see them. They are all so tight lipped about them its crazy.ValveFloat wrote:

400 wheel hp or 400 crank hp? Thats a lot of power for a front wheel drive car IMO. A guy back in MN has a 1.8t with a t3/t4 putting out 350+ whp and wtq and he has trouble getting traction in the first 3 gears. I think anything above 300 whp on a fwd is a little ridiculous but thats just me.

I c.Ill have to do so tinkering with that car might
need more waight in front maybe beter tires or lsd.
I think if i fucked with the gearing there could be
a way to make catch. By then should have
stroker kit.witch wont help with traktion maybe
ill have to put some real money in tires.
Already lookin at stage4 susp.kit but thats
good to know he might have tryed it all

Hmm, I didn't realize that Aerodyne was no longer in business.
