I know when I had my clutch replaced, I had it replaced with an OEM Sachs unit, with an Autotech lightened flywheel. The tech that did it said that that was the beefiest OEM clutch that he had ever seen. I have never had any issues with slippage on mine. Oh, we are talking about your car, sorry. Back OT!

I'm looking for real experience here, so that's great to know (none of that vortex shizzzz Spence - that place drives me nutz, but the MKIV DIY's are usually pretty good as long as the images are still there). I think the ECS kit is OEM+ light flywheel. So, I think I'm gonna do that. My clutch is now "chirping" on hard shifts or when downshifting, so I think that is a bad sign of a fail - lol. I am hoping to get a couple of months out of it, so I can do it when it's warmer...hopefully. At least I have a garage. And thanks Chris, I may need to take you up on some help fo sho.
